Amy with One A

Amy is an enigmatic aerial dancer, instructor, and choreographer. She is known as much for her fluidity and grace in the air as she is for her more quirky work. She has worked with several musical artists, including Knifight, Golden Dawn Arkestra, Kesha, Justin Sherburn, Sorne, Band of Heathens, Nightdrive, and more. She is a rehearsal director and performer with Blue Lapis Light, a sight specific aerial dance company, with whom she has enjoyed dancing on the sides of buildings, defenestrating herself, and roller skating on bungee cords (among other exciting feats).  Amy has worked with a multitude of dance/circus companies including Cirque Vida, Contemporary Dance/Fort Worth, Ariel Dance Theatre, Ellen Bartel Dance Collective, Jennifer Sherburn, BlipSwitch, and others. Her most recent aerial dance film, Limina, premiered at International Dance Festival New Orleans 2024. Amy holds a BFA in Ballet and Modern Dance from TCU, as well as licenses/certifications in massage, yoga, and herbalism.
